Underwater Galaxy

Lizzy and I decided to take a last second drive up to Long Beach. What usually takes 50 minutes ended up being an hour and 45 minutes because we left at 4 PM. Being on summer vacation for a month now made me forget about traffic schedules even though we have a framed card card hanging in our living room that says, "I love you so much that I would drive down the 405 at 5PM for you." We left at 4PM so I guess that statement didn't strike us as a warning for the inevitable since we were an hour off.
Anyways, the Aquarium of the Pacific is a pretty cool place to go to and admission is half off when you go after 5PM (I guess they feel bad for you having to sit in traffic). I was mainly attracted to photographing the jellyfish because I saw saw an article in Popular Photography about some guy going to the aquarium and taking photographs of the jellyfish. Plus, looking through the viewfinder, the abstract nature of a bunch of undefined blobs makes for some otherwordly photos.
I unsuspectingly ordered these photos in such a way that it seems like the first 3 are fiery beings trying to escape our atmosphere. The next three are the beings deep in space and the following two are other beings found in the galaxy. Or they're just a bunch of jellyfish in aquariums.
