Making of the Photograph

Nosferatu's silhouette was produced by finding an image online and using an LCD projector to create the ominous creature outside of the bedroom door. The black foam core was placed behind Lizzy to cover the distractingly white switchplate. Lizzy's face was illuminated by a hand held strobe at 1/64 power angled up three feet away from her face, right into her eyeballs. The dog was not part of the photograph, but desperately wanted to be.
