So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
-2 Corinthians 4:18
"How are you?"
"Blessed! Jesus is good to me. Even in our trials He is good."
Cindy is 65 years old and has been living in the streets for 15 years. She appreciates the beauty of God's creation and says she chooses to live outside. When it rains she stays under her tarp to stay dry. Her faith is strong as she relies on God daily to provide for her.
She goes to a local church and prays for the homeless and drug addicts that use their facilities.
"Not in my father's house!"
She finds it increasingly difficult to pray for the younger homeless drug addicts.
"They just take advantage of the church and the people that are trying to help. They are disrespectful and do drugs in the bathroom. They have hard hearts."
She then described a time when she found a young couple laying in the sidewalk. "The boyfriend was dead with a needle in his arm. The girlfriend took the needle out of his arm and put it in her arm. These young addicts just want an immediate high."
Throughout all Cindy has seen and experienced, she looks forward to when she will be in heaven.
"What is it about heaven that you look forward to?"
"Dancing with Jesus and Him singing to me."
